the Certified Child Life Specialist certification requirements established by the Child Life Council. These certification standards
include requirements related to education and professional experience, as well as the successful completion of a comprehensive
knowledge-based certification examination, and payment of annual maintenance fees. |
| The inclusion of a name in the directory indicates an individual is a Certified Child Life Specialist with an Active
Certification Status. To obtain this status, individuals must have: |
- met the eligibility requirements outlined in the Candidate Manual,
- passed the Child Life Professional Certification Examination,
- paid annual certification maintenance fees, and
- recertified at the end of the 5-year certification cycle (if applicable).
